Yin & Yang: A Balanced Fitness Practice with Lydia and TJ

Are you super mellow and need some more activity or are you super active and need to mellow out some? Your Nervous System has a “Go!” side and a “…slow…” side, learn why and what it takes to keep those sides in balance in your body and fitness practices. By exploring Yin Yoga and Gymnastics/Calisthenics we will examine what it means to nourish our bodies in a balanced way.

* Intro to Yin Yoga basics and Gymnastics/Calisthenics basics
* How, when and why to pair these practices
* Learn via lecture, dialogue and practice session

*This workshop is for beginners but also applicable for those experienced with Yin Yoga and looking to understand balance it with Yang or experienced with more intense practice and looking for methods to rest and restore the body.
