‘An introduction to meditation and the energy system towards deepening our connection to ourselves.’
This day is for all those who would like to work deeply with meditation, mindfulness and the energy system
towards increasing awareness, sensitivity and understanding of themselves. The practices help us to to slow down and connect to ourselves in a deeper and more meaningful way. We will work with the chakras and the movement of energy that surrounds and interpenetrates our physical bodies, as a means to getting to know ourselves better. We will also experience practices that can be taken into our sometimes challenging and complex lives, and for use in our everyday living.
Tutor – Kay Baxter – I have been involved in intensive study and practice with meditation and energy work for many years towards increasing and expanding awareness and consciousness and getting to know myself better. This work has been informed and expanded through contact with various teachers and influences and in particular my involvement over more than 20 years with the healer and teacher Hilmar Schohauer. Over the years I have come to appreciate more and more the value of meditation and energy work as tremendous tools for personal healing, growth and development. My own exploration of consciousness through meditation and the energy body is ongoing using and developing practices I now teach widely.
Focused yoga stretching will be used on the day.
