This workshop has a deliciously soft, slow & luxurious feel to it… as much a restorative, restful practice as it is a yin and myofascial release workshop…
This afternoon we’ll be focusing on the spine and back. With a healthy, well functioning spine, the nervous system is encouraged to settle and balance, posture improves as the tissues and muscles around the spine, hips and shoulders release and unwind ❇ general back pain is alleviated and the 7 main energetic centres are activated and stimulated. So much goodness!
Similar to a traditional yin yoga practice we’ll be gently stretching and accessing the deeper parts of the body with long held yin postures, as well as working with myofascial release techniques and some lovely undulating, spiraling and free, fluid movement to help encourage the unraveling of tension and tightness in the muscle and fascia throughout the body.
This will be a slow & mindful practice with the intention of staying connected to breath and body; a complete practice that will leave you feeling mentally and physically relaxed, rested and ready for the week ahead.
