Winter yin and star making with Tia
16th December | 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm£15
Time for a winter themed joy break – relax and unwind with a seasonal yin sequence and then create you own beautiful stars to take home and adorn your windows, whilst enjoying a vegan mince pie in good company.
Parties, presents, Prosecco – the festive season can be a lot of fun. But sometimes it can all get a little too much and we need a chance to just slow down and breathe! Yin yoga involves mainly floor based postures and we’ll be using lots of props to support the body as you relax into each pose. This is an opportunity to take a little time out of the fast lane, spending around five minutes in each posture, releasing tension and finding space and ease.
And then time to get a little crafty :-). These stars are super easy to make and a great activity to share with children (the event is aimed at grown ups but don’t let that stop you sharing your newly acquired craft skills far and wide). They are also a great way to make use of wrapping paper offcuts for those of you looking to embrace a low waste or no waste lifestyle. Materials, mince pies and herbal teas provided.
So follow yonder star and join us in a little oasis of calm, creativity and good cheer before the festive season kicks into full swing.
Nab yourself a festive bargain with a £10 early bird discount available until 31/11/18 – full price tickets go on sale at £15 from 1/12/18. Please book here.
Wishing peace, joy and yin to you all,
Tia (Kymata Yoga) xx
